IPB 2.0.0 Final has been released to the general download area!
Upgrade instructions are included in the download as usual but please note that the nearly all
the source files have changed due to some formatting clean-up. To ensure that you completely
upgrade your board, we recommend updating all of the following folders as well as the other files
listed in the documentation for the PF4 to Final upgrade:
sources
lang/en/
If you're using the IPB Portal, please also update "index_rename.php" (renamed to whatever you
use, naturally). If you don't update this, you'll see errors relating to the CACHE_PATH.
If you're upgrading from v1.x of Invision Power Board, please read the readme.html carefully and
follow the instructions carefully. This final release has some bug fixes to the 1.x upgrade
system which should account for a more stable upgrade.
This is the final release and is fully supported and classed as stable. We realize that, like
every piece of software, there are some small quirks and very minor bugs that we've put aside for
the next release. We feel that the software is ready for it's first officially stable release and
is an excellent platform to build on.
Thank you for your patience during the development cycle. It's been a long journey and I hope it
was worth the wait!
